SpeakOut 7-Eleven

SpeakOut is 7-Eleven’s prepaid mobile phone service known for providing Canadians with a truly simplistic and affordable talk, text, and browse solution. “You buy the phone. You buy the time. And then you start talking and texting, with no monthly bills, no contracts, and no commitments or fine print trickery.”

7-Eleven approached Hot Tomali to redesign and develop the existing SpeakOut website with the goal of increasing the program’s user base as well as improving the accessibility and convenience of the service for customers. The end result: a slick, engaging, new website enabling users to easily access information about the service, locate 7-Eleven stores, activate phones and vouchers online, and manage airtime, text, and browsing bundles through a personalized “My Account” section. Meanwhile, 7-Eleven staff can easily add and edit products and promotions — and essentially manage all website content. A custom web analytics program in place allows 7-Eleven to track and monitor user activity including member behaviour and conversion rates in key site areas.
