If you are a smoker and live in British Columbia, you’ll be happy to know that the best quit smoking program ever was launched today – Quit Now & WIN. All you have to do is sign up on the website and quit smoking between the dates of January 6^th and February 2, 2009. You will then become eligible to win a variety of prizes, including a first place prize valued at $10,000!

Besides the contest element, the brilliant part about this program is that smokers’ friends are also eligible to win prizes. So, if you know someone that smokes and you really want them to stop, tell them about Quit Now & WIN and you could both be winners (in more ways than one).

There’s also a bunch of other useful information, such as tips on quitting smoking. The contest was created by a partnership between the B.C. Provincial Government’s ActNow program, the B.C. Lung Association, and McNeil Consumer Healthcare. Here’s a link to the press release.
