We all recycle. Every office has blue bins, and we all throw our scrap paper in these bins without thinking twice. At this point, it’s inherent. But, remember when it wasn’t? Remember when the concept of recycling paper was novel and new?
Nowadays, sure, recycling is standard. It’s just a part of everyday life. We all know we need to do it, so we do. No questions asked, no expectations… we’re just trying to save the planet, one sheet of paper at a time.
So it’s a thrill when someone notices the differences you’re making, no matter how big or small they are. We at Hot Tomali — always striving to reduce our environmental footprint — are proud to say that during 2007, we diverted over 12 cubic yards of recyclable materials from the landfill. That’s the equivalent of six full-sized pickup trucks, or two cubic tonnes of carbon emissions. For the record, one cubic tonne of paper equals about 17 average sized trees.
Imagine what you could do?
