Hot Tomali’s CanadianEMR.ca Continues to Transform Healthcare in Canada

VANCOUVER, November 3, 2009 — CanadianEMR.ca, the most comprehensive national resource on electronic medical records (EMRs) in Canada has now partnered with CanadianHealthcareNetwork.ca to mark a transformation in healthcare delivery.

An existing partnership between Dr. Alan Brookestone and Hot Tomali’s President, Thomas Stringham has already lead the CanadianEMR portal to include a detailed blog and podcasts as well as interactive tools such as an EMR comparison and rating tool. With CanadianEMR’s newly established partnership with CanadianHealthcareNetwork.ca, a new EMR readiness assessment tool will soon be launched allowing physicians and staff to measure their readiness for an EMR. This will enable the development of a national EMR readiness scorecard reporting on physicians’ preparedness across Canada. As momentum builds and physicians continue to adopt EMRs, we can expect to see improved levels of efficiency in Canada’s healthcare system.
