VANCOUVER, August 13, 2009 — Hot Tomali Communications is celebrating their 11-year anniversary in style with the acquisition of a building located at 1441 E Pender Street in Vancouver. The building, a two-year-old modern workspace with a built-in production studio for film and photography, was designed by renowned modern architectural firm BattersbyHowatt and built by Revolution Developments.

The 4,500 sq/ft building, which is just off trendy Commercial Drive, features over-height ceilings, modern glass curtain walls, custom fabricated workstations, European finishings, and an interior courtyard on the top level, which provides natural lighting through the office areas.
“As soon as I set eyes on this building, I knew this was the perfect agency HQ for us,” says Thomas Stringham, President & Creative Director at Hot Tomali. “The opportunity to have more office space, an in-house studio, and a tangible investment was just too appealing. We also love being surrounded by inspiring modern architecture. The energy here is phenomenal.”
Hot Tomali Communications was able to make the move from renter to owner based on strong growth over the last two years. Despite the economic climate, the agency doubled its revenue from 2007 to 2008 and revenue projections for 2008–2009 look even more promising.
“We’ve been growing steadily and organically for over a decade,” says Stringham. “As an agency we think it’s important to make prudent investments and demonstrate to our clients that we are business savvy and run a stable operation that will be around for the long haul. As creative as we are, we’re also very good at the business side of things. This is a testament to that approach.”
Hot Tomali is an award-winning integrated communications agency guided by ideas—not mediums. Every project is approached individually to tailor innovative and thought-provoking communications that are specific to your audience.
